We have been experiencing extreme heat over the past few weeks.  We wanted to share U.S. Soccer Federation Heat Guidelines with our soccer community that Fairhope Soccer Club follows to ensure our players’ safety.

Key Points:
1. Ensure your player is well hydrated before, during & after training/games. Have frequent water breaks during practices/games.  Water before, Sports Drink during & Water after.  NEW HYDRATION GUIDELINES TO PREVENT DANGEROUS HEAT ILLNESS IN YOUNG PLAYERS

2. Familiarize yourself with the signs & symptoms of heat related illnesses. HEAT GUIDELINES

3. Avoid activity during 11am-4pm.
