U.S. Youth Soccer and other national organizations are transitioning from birth-year age groups (Jan–Dec) to school-year age groups (Aug 1 – July 31) The goal is to better align teams with school grades and classmates, which many families prefer.

When does this change take effect? The change will be for the upcoming Fall 2026.  Our registration platform will automatically place your player within the new age group accordingly.
