Our Pre-Academy programs give U6–U9 players a fun, supportive place to grow their soccer skills. With guidance from professional coaches, players build confidence, improve their technique, and learn the game in a positive training environment.

We focus on each player’s development, helping players learn the basic skills and concepts they will need as they continue toward Academy-level soccer. Families also get a helpful introduction to what academy-style training looks like, while players gain the confidence, habits, and love of the game needed to keep improving.

To meet players where they are developmentally, we offer two age-appropriate training options that help make the step from recreational soccer to more competitive play feel natural and encouraging:

Sambas (U6–U7): Launching in Fall 2026, Sambas is a great first step for young players who are excited to learn and grow. This beginner-friendly program offers professional technical instruction in a fun, active setting. New players are welcome, though we recommend that children complete at least one season of recreational soccer or the Tots program first, so they are familiar with the basics of the game.

Footies (U8–U9): Footies is designed for boys and girls who are ready for a little more structure and challenge. This program helps bridge recreational soccer and our competitive Academy pathway by giving players more focused technical training in a professional environment. To help our young players feel prepared and successful, we recommend either two seasons of recreational soccer or previous Sambas experience.

Both programs are guided by licensed professional coaches who support each player’s growth while helping children build the skills, confidence, and game understanding needed for the next step in their soccer journey.
